archiveToday, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released the Summary for Policymakers (SPM) of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6), the Working Group III contribution. The report indicates that global warming is likely to exceed 1.5℃ during the 21st century based on the measures announced and submitted by each country prior to COP26. The report is calling the entire world to further accelerate climate change mitigation efforts. To significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, it is important to consider measures not only related to energy supply, but also demand.
